Mike is a self-taught illustrator and a graphic artist. His cartoons and comics have appeared in newspapers throughout Western Canada and his original designs can be seen on everything from hockey jerseys to greeting cards. As an avid history buff, the chance to depict the greats and not-so-greats of a bygone era, Warts & All, has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He lives in Maple Ridge, BC, with his wife Janet, son Tyler, and daughter Madeline.
