Peter Simon was born in Germany but grew up in Toronto where he still lives with his wife, Brenda, and their two children, Joshua and Shulamit. Peter studied and practised architecture before pursuing his interest in writing and painting about the natural environment. Once Upon A Pond is his first book. Peter is presently working in the field of urban forestry and working on his next book.
